What better way to celebrate that to join us for a fundraising campaign for the Arvo Pärt Project in honor of the Maestro’s birthday on September 11, 2013. Donations of $50 or more between September 1 and September 11 will be entered in a raffle to win two tickets to one concert of your choice! Multiple entries will increase your chance of winning.
- May 31, 2014 at Carnegie Hall – Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Tõnu Kaljuste.
- June 2, 2014 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Temple of Dendur – Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will sing the entire Kanon Pokajanen under the direction of Tõnu Kaljuste.
These will be definitive Arvo Pärt concert events, performed in the presence of the composer. Your donation will help fund this U.S. tour, as well as provide support to continued collaboration between St. Vladimir’s Seminary and the International Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia.
All donations are tax-deductible. Entry does not guarantee access to concert. Raffle will be held on September 12 at random and winner will be publicly announced by September 15. Travel expenses are not included in prize. Donations are welcome after the end of the campaign, but will not be entered in the raffle after 12:01 am on September 12, 2013.
Palju õnne sünnipäevaks! (which means Happy Birthday in Estonian)
